Spotlight 10 Common Security Cameras

 types of security cameras

Cameras are everywhere. We tote them as phones, complain about them breaching our privacy or solicit their material to launch forms of stardom. But, we’d like to delve into the top ten security cameras on the market that retain or promote our safety. Next time you see one, you’ll know know what its use is and how hopefully how it works; and maybe even if you like it or not.

1. Bullet CCTV

The bullet camera is what you often find in mobile phone stores, grocery stores, banks, or other indoor environments. It can also be used in outdoor environments. The camera is used to point and shoot at a typical area only.

2. Discreet Cameras

Discreet cameras are, well, discreet. Typically they are not seen. Usually they are placed in places where you cannot see them and come in a variety of different styles, shapes and designs to keep them hidden.

3. Basic Outdoor Cameras

Outdoor cameras are pretty easy to spot. Obviously they are found outdoors and have a protective housing which protects them from moisture, birds, gnats and dust among other tempering things.

4. Vari-focal Camera

Vari-focal cameras are designed so that they may operate at different focal distances. Vari-focal cameras are the most logical for users who are unsure of their special requirements. The camera is one of the most easy and efficient cameras in security use.

5.  Network and IP Cameras

Network and IP cameras compress and send visual data over the internet. Most network and IP cameras promote wifi access.

6. Pan Tilt Zoom

Pan, tilt, and zoom cameras are the most mobile of the cameras. Typically they are used by a security guard, but they can also be automated devices with censor and monitor technology.

7. High-Definition Camera

High-definition cameras are used to zoom and monitor minute situations. Situations include, casinos, banks, high-end fashion stores, museums and the like. High-definition cameras are used in high-security environments and are an amenity to that particular place.

8. 24/7 Cameras

Sounds easy enough. The 24/7 camera gets its name because it’s able to capture images at both night and day without losing the quality of the image recorded.

9. Infrared and Night Vision

In conditions where almost no light is available, infrared and night vision cameras are used. They most often use IR LEDs.

10. Dome Cameras

Dome cameras are often setup in retail places. Their use is to promote safety and prevent burglary, like most cameras. The domes, or most of them, have the ability to swivel in place and capture 360 degree views.

Siedle Advanced Audio/Video Intercom Technology

scope_siedle

Audio and video intercoms are advancing quickly. Some of the amenities that come with these intercom systems are vast improvements from older devices. Three new devices from Siedle have recently caught our eye. The aesthetic features outshine others and the installation of these devices is easier than ever. These advances fit plumb on specific properties and out-function the current audio and video intercoms on the market by far. Let’s have a look.

Audio Siedle Steel

Nothing is currently sexier than the Siedle Steel audio intercom. The device not only appears sleek, but it is sleek. As Siedle says themselves, “the technology disappears into the wall recess, the add-on height of the front panel is a mere six millimeters.” The technology is supported by an aesthetic of anodized aluminum. The mounting level is of a silver micaceous iron ore paintwork finish. Visually Siedle’s Steel products are stunning. But they are just as functional. Promoting accurate fingerprint readers, call buttons without gross noise feedback and significant product lifespan, these Siedle Steel audio intercoms are the best around.

Video Siedle Steel

It makes sense that we favor synchronicity. But we wouldn’t favor it if we didn’t feel that the Siedle Steel video intercoms didn’t meet the level of and exceed competitors. With an equally beautiful interface, the Siedle Steel video also sits perfectly plumb whereupon it’s installed. Additionally, the color cameras are as crystal clear as the speech received on both device ends. All Siedle Steel products come in a variety of different finishes to be compatible with the look of both your interior and your exterior placements. While being so complex on the back-end its technology is ever functionally simple on the front end. Free-standing pedestals are also available for mount-less installations. This rounds out one of the best video intercom systems we have seen in a long while.

Other Updates

What else is new with Siedle? New more clear video panels, new individual audio phone color options, and a new mail notification systems with electric unlocking… Yes, Siedle is promoting all of these things. What specifically struck us was the last innovation; now homeowners can see when a package or letter has been delivered before making the trek downstairs or across the building. A very simple notification system is installed for this mail delivery purpose. On one’s device a solid yellow light shines on the mail button so you know when your mail has arrived. Simple, genius, Siedle.
